San Francisco's oldest un-altered house, this Gothic Revival building dates from 1850 with lumber brought around Cape Horn from Maine. It has been moved thrice: in 1890 for the road grading on Divisadero Street and then back again, in 1904 so that stores could be built along Divisadero and in the 1970s to allow for a front yard.
